I used to love cooking when I was younger but the infatuation to all things edible kinda faded when I became busy. Traffic today was horrendous. I was color coding so I had to wait until after 7pm before I can leave work and head home. Didn't know that all cars will be on the road the same time as me. I entertained myself by surfing using my mobile phone and jumped from this site to that site and so on. Good thing I did that. At least, I learned a thing or two while braving the terrible wednesday traffic.
It's almost midnight here but I still need to research on weight loss pill comparison for myself and a cousin. We are in the process of seriously losing weight this year and by saying that, we are looking at all possible means of shedding off these excess fat as soon as possible. Gym, yoga, running, diet. This is the last week of 2010 so allow us to celebrate and give thanks for the wonderful year that was. 2010 was a mixture of happy and sad months, a mixture of good and bad news, a mixture of triumphs and defeats. And now, as we move forward and welcome a new year, more than the sports trophies or bag awards that we long to receive, let us not forget to praise God for not letting us down in moments of trials and who continues to lift us up in time of downfalls.

Just when I thought I am all set in welcoming the new year, I suddenly remembered that I have to renew the insurance of my family. Still not decided on whether or not I will get another insurance for them as I have been paying a hole lot already for the other one however the insurance quotes that was sent to me by a friend is enticing that I am thinking otherwise. When you become a parent, or a mother at that, the essence of child safety is the first on your list. You care less about other people and even yourself. What you would always want and wish for, even pray for, would be for the best of your child especially her safety. I have been like this since almost 6 years ago when I first had my daughter. My prayers would be for her safety and protection. My prayers have doubled this year when I had my son. I know that nannies abound but you can only find the perfect match for you and your family through time. I don't want any nanny cameras at home because it defeats the purpose of having a warm, truthful, honest and homey atmosphere. I am trying my best to live a healthy life. Cancer scares the hell out of me and if I were given a choice, I would not want to die because of this. One deadly disease is Mesothelioma. I am very particular with toilets. I want to make sure that they are spic and span clean and they smell good. The toilets at home are being disinfected everyday and general cleaning are done weekly. We have been convincing my father in law, who is in the construction business, to try the POS systems but he is having a hard time understanding the benefits that this could give him and us. We have been telling him that these gadgets would make his life at least 50% easier as they would do all the dirty work for him. But being a paper, old style guy, it would take a few more convincing powers before he could give us the go signal.

My daughter L, has always taken Ceelin as her vitamins eversince she was small. I guess, that helped in how she managed to have strong resistance and a really healthy body. I think the last one is the easiest to give but being the best dad and hubby in the world, he deserves all the material things that he wishes for. I may not be able to buy him all those on the list at once. But I will strive to give him as much.

My mom's fascination with silver and gold started when she was in medical school. She was telling me how she would save all her allowance that comes from my grandmother just so she can buy small pieces of gold that she can keep as an investment. She brought that hobby with her when she got married and migrated to the US. There she learned about United States Gold Bureau and has since collected more gold and silver. I know for a fact that all the pieces that she has collected all these years will be mine so I am excited. Yay!
Enough of internet for the weekend. But before I even doze off to bed, I badly need to look for one a day vitamins that I can give my kids so their health will always be in top shape.
