wednesday weirdness # 1
1. How often do you talk to your siblings?
:: I have only one sibling so we make it a point to keep in touch as often as possible by sending SMS every day and calling each other up at least twice a week.
2. How well do you deal when given an ultimatum?
:: I am a stickler for deadlines so I don't need ultimatums.
3. Have you ever dated someone or had a lover who had an emotional or mental disorder?
:: Hahaha! Yes. And I am glad we broke up because I don't imagine spending my lifetime with him at all. He may be the smartest but defeintely the craziest! Nevermind. Yikes!
4. How do you feel about crossdressing?
:: I am not for it but I am not against it. To each his own.
5. Have you ever lied about the number of sexual partners you have had to someone? Why?
:: Why should I?
6. Does your significant other have the same political and religious views that you do? How often do you discuss politics and religion with them?
:: Yes, we do have the same religious views and we discuss about politics when in the car or when we're bored in bed.
7. What sport, if any, do you find to be most boring?
:: I would say golf.
8. Have you ever honestly peed in the pool?
:: Yes.

a perfect birthday gift
Today is my sister in law's birthday. My other sister in law that is. Not the one who gave birth but my brother's pretty wife. They just moved to a bigger house in the province and I have been thinking of giting her with a nice chair that she can place in her garden. I found one that will really look good in their garden. I chose a really nice wooden chair with cushion from among the list of modern furniture in the site. My only problem right now is how to ship it but I have already placed the order and I am pretty sure it will get to them as soon as possible. I am all hyped up because I know that it's going to be a great accent in their still-bare garden. If and when they send my photos of their house, I will surely share some with all of you. Meanwhile, join me in greeting her a very happy birthday. May you experince abundance of love and prosperity, Mameecee! You trully deserve them!

routine check up
My husband has been whining about the coolness of our car since a couple of days ago. We are not sure though if we need to replace our a/c compressor already because as far as I can remember, we have done our routine check up six months ago before we went home to the province for the holidays. When I rode today, I felt that the performance of the aircon is not at its best so I asked him to schedule a check up with the repairer. I just hope it will be fixed in no time because riding in a car without an aircon is really not the best thing to do especially in a country as humid as ours.

a different kind of outbreak
My daughter's nanny is starting to have a pimple outbreak on her face and back. It's not yet widespread but because she is taking care of my daughter and she spends most of my time with her, I want to treat her pimples right away before it turns worse. I have brought her to my derma and she was prescribed with some acne cream for her face and a medicated soap for her back. The medication, just like any treatment or consultation with a dermatologist is somewhat steep and pricey but I don't mind at this point. I am so scared that the pimples will be transferred to my daughter if it won't get treated asap.

Your heart just breaks, that's all. But you can't judge, or point fingers. You just have to be lucky enough to find someone who appreciates you.
all about pens
I always have this fondness for notebooks and pens eversince I was a kid. Before, it used to be my mom who spoils me with all those colorful notebooks and journals, and the pens that she sees, she buys. She even sent me a package with personalized pens so I can give them away as Christmas gifts. They were such a hit, I had to ask her to send some more. When I was preparing for my wedding a few years ago, I strongly considered giving away personalized pens but my husband had a brilliant idea for the give aways. I wonder when I will outgrow this fascination that I have for pens but while it's there, might as well enjoy the ride!

While surfing this morning, I stumbled upon this site that creates word clouds from the text that you write. I wanted to create my own but my system needs to install a different java version which is kinda tedious to do so I just copy pasted some from the site to give you an idea. Hope you like it!
Many thanks to wordle.net.

countdown to 2010
Things to accomplish before 2010:
1. A new car for me. - We're thinking of getting a brand new compact car late next year. Depends on the sales of our CL, really. Heee!
2. Lizzie should be in big school by then - leaning towards AA because of the proximity to first - her lola's hardware, second - her mama shine's house in Antipolo and three - dada's route from his work going home. SPC - Pasig is still an option but the traffic lets me think otherwise.
3. Santino - this does not need further explanation.
4. The big P - it will really kill me if this won't happen before 2010.
5. A long vacation - to make my mom happy, I will consider her offer of a US trip with Lizzie and Arthuz and enjoy one of those Vegas vacations that she is talking about. I have never been to the US and it shakes me everytime I would imagine the trip.
Spell excited.

LP # 1: i am me!
These were the photos taken a few minutes after I gave birth. I consider that to be one of the longest days of my life. Long, stressful, painful, tearjerking. Can you imagine how I can still catch a fever in the middle of all these? But, a few seconds after I gave birth to my little princess, no matter how groggy and worn out I was from all the drugs plugged into my system, I cried. That was when I felt that yes, it's hard to be a mother. It's hard but fulfilling.
I have another entry HERE.
meeting the rebel millionaire.
(hubby, richard branson, inkee - lizzie's ninong)
My husband and I share so many things in common. That's why we're soulmates! Even before we got married, we have always dreamt of meeting famous personalities and rockstars who we adore so much. I daydream about Tommy Lee all the time. My husband daydreams a lot more! So, can you imagine the thrill on his voice when he called me up one night to share the great news that he met Richard Branson??!!! I was as excited as he was that I totally forgot about the acne treatment that my friend was talking about as we were chatting online at that time too. I immediately asked him to email me the photo so I can see for myself too!Sunday, August 3, 2008
